Eligibility category chart
In order to attend a foreign (international) school in Korea, the applicant must satisfy one of the following four categories of eligibility set forth by the Korean Ministry of Education :
Category 1Category 2A student who is a Korean citizen (including dual citizen) and has lived overseas for a minimum of three years (1,095 days).
Category 3A student who is transferring from an accredited international school in Korea.
Category 4A student who has 6 semesters of official school transcripts (report cards) and certificate of enrollment from an overseas school.
Category 5A student who has a naturalized, non-ethnic Korean parent(s) who is deemed unable to continue education in the local school system, as determined by the deliberation of the school.

- Middle and High School- Most recent THREE years are required.* Note: Transcripts and recommendation letters in a language other than English must be translated to English and the original must be submitted along with the translation. For high school transcripts, the translation must be notarized.
Official Recommendation Letters- Elementary School- ONE recommendation letter.
- Middle and High School- TWO recommendation letters.* Note: Official results from the most recent standardized tests (e.g. Stanford 10, ITBS, Terra Nova, CAT, SSAT, PSAT, SAT, ACT) where applicable. No document is returned under any circumstances.

STEP 3Submit Application Fee
The non-refundable application fee of KRW 300,000 is required. Once the documents are submitted, please transfer via wire the application fee to KB Bank (Jangwi-dong Branch). Please indicate the applicant’s name as a sender.

STEP 4Application Review
Applications are reviewed by the Admissions Office first. Once the applicant’s eligibility is verified, the admissions office will schedule an interview (either in person or via Skype) as well as an admissions test date. The applicant will be notified about the admission decision within 7-10 business days.

STEP 5Registration
Applicants who have received acceptance will be contacted to complete the enrollment process. Tuition and fees must be paid in full amount to proceed with the applicant’s enrollment process.
